Celebrating Bridges!
/After weeks of study and hands-on exploration about the design and structural components of beam, arch, truss and suspension bridges, the Sea Lions began work on their own bridges, and the results were truly exceptional! Throughout the process, students practiced the steps in engineering design: imagining their bridge, planning the design, creating a model based on their design and improving their design as they went along.
On Thursday night, during the ELC’s annual Celebration of Learning the Sea Lions had the chance to share their work with family and friends. It was a joyous celebration of the incredible work they have done this year, and their bridges took center stage!
